Verify: One-Time Password (OTP) Text Message Delivery

Twilio Verify may use Google’s Rich Communications Services to deliver enhanced text messages to recipients (“Verify RCS”).
To the extent Customer uses Twilio Verify to deliver a one-time password (OTP) text message to a recipient, Customer authorizes Twilio to deliver such one-time password (OTP) text message using Verify RCS or traditional SMS, as determined by Twilio in its sole discretion.
Google acts as a sub-processor for Verify RCS. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Agreement, including any personal data processing terms therein, if Verify RCS is used to deliver one-time password (OTP) text messages, Customer agrees that Google may retain Customer’s personal data for the purposes and retention periods set forth in Google's Data Processing Addendum.
