Twilio API Now Available Through Windows Azure Mobile Services Platform

joined forces with Microsoft to provide developers with Twilio Voice and SMS through the Windows Azure platform. Today we’re expanding this relationship to include availability on Windows Azure Mobile Services Platform, which enables developers to quickly build Windows 8 and iOS mobile applications connected to a cloud based backend. We’ve already seen users build incredible apps powered by Twilio and Windows Azure, and we’re very excited for what you build next.
Developers using Windows Azure Mobile Services are able to build iOS and Windows 8 apps that utilize features like structured storage, user authentication and push notifications, in addition to easily implementing Twilio-powered features like two-factor authentication and SMS messages triggered by database updates. Bottom line is you have easier access to the tools you need to build the next generation of communications apps.
