LONDON, March 5, 2025 Twilio (NYSE: TWLO), the customer engagement platform that drives real-time, personalised experiences for today’s leading brands, announced the winner of its ‘One in a Twilion’ award.

‘One in a Twilion’ honours women's impact in technology teams. Submissions were open to the public, inviting nominations for women in tech who have driven brilliant work and results for their teams and businesses. The nominations were judged by a panel of Twilio executives, including Sam Richardson, Director of Executive Engagement Programs for EMEA and APJ; Camelia Suciu, Director of Solutions Engineering for EMEA; and, Inbal Shani, Chief Product Officer & Head of R&D.

The award announcement follows Twilio’s recently announced partnership with Chelsea Football Club, which inspired its creation. Inbal Shani, Chief Product Officer at Twilio said: “We saw this inaugural award as the perfect opportunity to celebrate the technical talent of women on and off the field. Whether through demonstrating leadership, coaching young talent, or guiding innovative strategy, there are plenty of builders who deserve more recognition for the value they bring to their teams. Personally, I felt inspired while reading stories of real grit from the nominated women across walks of life, from healthcare to financial services and technology startups.”

With excellent and inspirational nominations received from across the globe, the judges selected Ingrid Sierra, Chief Marketing Officer at Finfare, as the winner.

Ingrid is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of global marketing experience, specialising in B2B and B2C strategies. She has demonstrated a strong track record of driving revenue growth and enhancing lifetime customer value for various international organisations. With her visionary leadership style, Ingrid has excelled in building and nurturing high-performing marketing functions by fostering a culture of empowerment and trust. As CMO of Finfare, Ingrid plays an instrumental part in establishing and leading a team in California, focusing on brand positioning, product marketing, and user experience to solidify Finfare's standing as a leading fintech and rewards provider. Previously, she held influential positions at the loyalty technology platform Tenerity and The Carphone Warehouse, where she made significant contributions to marketing and customer experience strategies. In addition to her professional achievements, Ingrid is actively engaged in mentoring programs.

Speaking of her ‘One in a Twilion’ recognition, Ingrid said: “Being recognised by other women in tech is an honour that validates all the hard work I’ve dedicated to my career. I am grateful that my efforts to drive change and create opportunities for others in tech have resonated with women who understand the challenges we face in the industry.

“Being nominated by my team is the most rewarding aspect, as it validates my approach, leadership, and mission to support the next generation of marketeers. Recognition is essential for those trying to change industries and grow in their roles, as it shows what is possible with dedication and hard work, pushing the entire industry forward.

“My advice for women working in tech is to find mentors who can help accelerate your career. Additionally, be a lifelong learner. Technology evolves every day, and the risk of becoming obsolete is real. If you are passionate about something, work won’t feel like work, so keep learning."

The winner will receive a Chelsea matchday experience, signed Chelsea merchandise, a voucher, and participate in a Twilio webinar.

Founded in 1905, Chelsea is London’s most central football club, based at the iconic 40,000-capacity Stamford Bridge stadium.
