Programmable Voice Conference Display Name Change
In February the display name in Console, invoices, order forms, and the Usage API for Programmable Voice conferences mixed in Ashburn (us1) and Umatilla (us2) will be updated to remove specific reference to US East.
Conferences mixed in Ashburn (us1) and Umatilla (us2) emit the same product usage identifiers and share the same price. In February, Twilio will update the name of the product display name to remove the association with Ashburn (us1) only, as this naming predates the availability of Umatilla (us2) as a conference mixer region.
This means that starting in February invoices, Usage API, Twilio Console, order forms, etc., will no longer display Conference Minute - US East or Agent Conference Minute - US East, and will display Conference Minute - US or Agent Conference Minute - US going forward.
There is no change to billing behavior or price; only the display name is being changed.
