The new A2P 10DLC onboarding experience
Time to read: 1 minute
We are excited to announce the new onboarding experience for U.S. A2P 10DLC within Twilio’s Trust Hub, providing you front-door access to a verified ecosystem with your local long codes. When it comes to the new registration process, accurate and up-to-date information is critical. That’s why we guide you through each step, making it as easy as possible for you to provide the information required. Let’s take a quick look:
With the transition to A2P 10DLC in the United States, carriers now require you to register who you are and what you’re sending. These new registration requirements ultimately allow good actors to benefit from increased deliverability and throughput while preventing bad actors from accessing the network. Put simply, this means increased engagement and greater ROI for your messages over long codes.
Registration not only helps you establish trust with carriers upfront, but it also drives the maximum daily messages and throughput per campaign for your long codes. After registering, you’ll receive a number from 1-100 called the Trust Score. The higher the Trust Score, the higher the daily limits and throughput. As you go through the process, take time to ensure you submit accurate information about your company, as the cyber and identity checks are sensitive to out-of-date or misspelled data.
While we are excited about the new onboarding experience, this is just the start. We will continue to iterate as we strive towards providing everything needed to fully capitalize on this new, verified ecosystem for local long codes.
