How will you mashup Boxee and Twilio? Come up with a creative, unique, new way to combine telephony and television and you could win a Boxee Box.
Over the next two weeks, we’ll be sharing ideas for how you might combine our two APIs to combine SMS and voice calls with internet television viewing.

Come Hack With Us
Join us for simultaneous hackathons in New York and San Francisco on Saturday, April 10th. Our teams will be available to answer questions in person, via IRC chat, and we may even livestream the events if we can.
Register to attend the hackathon in San Francisco with Twilio, or hackathon in New York with Boxee – it’s free!
Deadline for Submissions: 11:59pm Pacific Time, April 11th
The winner of this contest will receive one of the first Boxee boxes, as well as a Dell Netbook and $100 in Twilio credit.
How to Submit Your App
Step 1 – Package Your App
Using your ~UserData/apps/ folder as your root, compress your application using a zip utility. Also make sure your app thumbnail is available on a public Internet host.
Step 2 – Complete Submission Form
All competitors should submit their apps using the same handy-dandy form all apps use.
Step 3 – Send the App
Finally, email app-submit@boxee.tv with your app attached. All app submissions before the contest deadline will be entered in the contest automatically.
