To celebrate yesterday’s SMS price drop from $.03 per message to $.02 per message, the developer contest category for this week is, simply, SMS. We’re looking for the best integration of SMS into an existing app or the best entirely SMS-based app. This contest is wide open, if you use Twilio SMS you’re eligible to enter. There’s going to be a lot of competition for this one, so bring your best stuff.
The winner of the contest will receive a Graphite Kindle 3G, a $50 O’Reilly Books gift card and $100 in Twilio credit. Because we expect a lot of entries and the voting to be close, we’re also going to give away $100 in Twilio credit to two runners up. The deadline to enter is Sunday November 28th at 11:59pm PT, so you’ll have your entire holiday weekend to build the next big thing.
