New Developer Contest: Twilio & Box
Time to read: 2 minutes
Box’s platform allows businesses to securely store, manage, and share content. For this contest, you’ll have two weeks to create an interesting application that combines Twilio’s API (bonus points for using Twilio Client) and Box’s API.
There will be three winners. First place will receive:
- A full pass to the Twilio (Sept 21st-22nd)
- $100 in Twilio credit
- A customized Twilio Timbuk2 messenger bag
- Awesome swag from both Twilio and Box
- A 32 GB Galaxy Tab
- Swag from both Twilio and Box
Third place will receive:
- A Parrot AR Drone
- More swag than you can shake a stick at
Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM PDT on Sunday August 21st. Entries can be submitted here. Extra brownie points for putting together helpful materials (screencasts, blog posts, etc.) that demonstrate the value of what you’ve built or explain how it could become a business someday, and also listing your entry in the Twilio gallery and ProgrammableWeb.
Want Even More?
Box is currently running the Box Mobile Dev Challenge, in which they’re giving away $50,000 in cash and prizes for enterprise grade mobile apps that use the Box platform. This is a great opportunity to double your chances at winning—build a mobile app using Twilio and Box, submit it to this contest, then build it out further in the next few weeks and submit it to the Mobile Dev Challenge.
What’s This Developer Contest All About?
Each week we announce a new category to encourage developers to try Twilio for different use cases, industries, and integrations. As a language-agnostic platform for cloud communications, we want to see developers from all backgrounds find success and solve problems with Twilio. To fire your imagination and reward your efforts, we’ve run this developer contest for over a year.
How To Get Involved
Submissions to the contest can be submitted here. If you need any help or want to bounce ideas off other Twilio developers, please join us on our forums or drop a note to help@twilio.com.
