Mark Your Calendars: Google Wave Meetup at Twilio on 10/22
Time to read: 2 minutes
The event will be focused on Google Wave users, so if you’re new to wave this is a great opportunity to learn how it works from experts. There will also be several developers on hand to demonstrate how their gadgets and robots work.
Thanks to organizers Lawrence Leung and Robert Schwentker for bringing together both this group and the Bay Area Google Wave meetup group on a regular basis. If you’re located in the South Bay and can’t miss this event, we highly recommend you check out the Bay Area group.
What’s Next for Twiliobot?
in a wave you’ve probably noticed some changes. At the meetup Evan
Cooke, creator of Twiliobot, will give an update on our progress and
will be talking about the capabilities and tips for working with the
Google Wave robots API.
Hope to see you there! RSVP on Meetup.com here
Back in June Evan hacked together the first version of Twiliobot at Google I/O the same day Google Wave was announced, and since then we’ve watched as the potential (and the hype) around wave have grown to deafening volumes.
As early adopters ourselves, it has been fun watching the Wave developer community unfold. It all began with the Google Wave hack-a-thons, which built into a group of developers interested in the Google Wave APIs in the sandbox, and has recently expanded further to include consumers in the first round of beta invites.
Would you like to have your user group meet at the Twilio offices? We’ve got a great space for bringing people together to talk about technology, ideas, and the future and we’d love to share it with you. If you’re interested, please contact Danielle. See you soon!
