London Calling: Twilions and DOers Springing Into A Busy Summer
Time to read: 2 minutes
April and May saw us at an average of one event every couple of days – spreading the love, seeing your hacks, and scouting out entries for the first round of Twilio Fund Europe.
Keen not to lose momentum in July, we’ve just come back from a three day road trip to Paris. We made the most of the opportunity to meet with some amazing accelerators, meet great developers and startups. We partnered with tech blog Rude Baguette to run a full day workshop to give an introduction to Twilio as a company, teach people more about the API, and talk about what we can do to help DOers in Europe.
We’ve got tickets for the 3 Beards’ Digital Sizzle Art Hack, and to AppsWorld, to give away. If you’ve built something cool using Twilio and want to come along to either of these events, drop us a tweet and we’ll see what we can do.
If you’re a younger developer, or have mini-geeks of your own, we’re also supporting Young Rewired State in August and also working with older students to help them create awesome projects and products powered by Twilio. More on that soon.
Last but not least – we want you to come and say hello! If you’re in London and passing by, you’re more than welcome to come and grab a coffee with us and hang out for a chat. Tweet the team if you’re passing by – we’re @jamesparton, @BenNunney, @babertronic, @xmjw and @sydlawrence!
Until next time…
