Celebrate Five Years of TwilioQuest at Hamilton in NYC, Chicago, and Charlotte
Time to read: 1 minute
It’s hard to believe that five years have gone by since the very first TwilioQuest hackers joined us for TwilioCon 3 in San Francisco. In those days, you had to join us in person to play TwilioQuest. Today, you can play TwilioQuest whenever you want - and we can think of no better way to celebrate five years of TwilioQuest than doing just that. It wouldn’t be much of a quest, though, if there wasn’t some rad loot to be won.
To that end, we’re bringing back our Hack for Hamilton competition, where you can win tickets for you and a guest to be in the room where it happens in New York, Chicago, or Charlotte. To be eligible to win, you must playing TwilioQuest between now and 3pm Pacific time on Monday, October 29th.
I am not throwing away my shot! How do I get started?
Here are the three Hack for Hamilton commandments:
- Sign up (or log in) at twilio.com/quest
- During character creation (or on your Settings page), indicate that you are participating in a Hack for Hamilton event for your city
- Summon all the courage you require to play TwilioQuest! Make sure to select your event in step 2, or your playing won't count toward the competition.
I’m willing to wait for it, but when will you announce winners?
We will randomly select a lucky winner for each city from the group of hackers who have played TwilioQuest. Winners will be notified by their TwilioQuest e-mail addresses and announced on Twitter by 5pm Pacific time on Monday, October 29th. Tickets are for the Tuesday, 10/30 shows in NYC and Chicago, and for the Wednesday, 10/31 show in Charlotte.
Good luck hacking for Hamilton!
No purchase necessary to enter. Contest ends October 29, at 3pm PT. Click here to view official rules.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to our winners:
- Christopher H. (NYC)
- Keith H. (Charlotte)
- Alex S. (Chicago)
