Phone Numbers in Central and South America: Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, and more!
Time to read: 1 minute
Local phone numbers are critical for businesses looking to land and expand into new territories. Provisioning virtual numbers that are in the same market as users mean that businesses can achieve more engagement with their buyers as a result of the local identity. That’s why Twilio offers the broadest reach of virtual phone numbers (95 countries) and today, we just launched more new numbers in:
- Argentina (Local Voice)
- Venezuela (Local Voice)
- Guatemala (Local Voice and Mobile SMS)
- Chile (Toll-Free)
- Costa Rica (National Voice, Toll-Free)
These numbers are in developer preview. To request access, fill out this form and we’ll get back to you on availability as stock is limited.
Also, note that we have new Argentina Toll-Free numbers in Beta.
Pricing and capability restrictions of developer preview numbers can be found here.
These numbers have gone through a rigorous performance and reliability testing process. We’re offering them by request so we can verify the quality with real world testing. They’ve been thoroughly vetted and we don’t expect issues, however, we advise against using them in production.
We can’t wait to see what you build!
