We’ve got a special treat for Twilio developers who love a good contest.

You have two weeks to submit your Twilio-powered business and you could win a trip to New York City to have lunch with Fred Wilson, Albert Wenger and Brad Burnham of venture capital firm Union Square Ventures.

If you would like to keep your project secret please let us know on the submission form, or drop a note to Danielle@twilio.com. We will respect all requests for confidentiality by not publishing information about your startup on our blog, Twitter, etc. at your request. However, in order to be evaluated all submissions will be shared with our judges including the partners at Union Square Ventures.

Put Those API Improvements to Good Use

Whether you’re already built something that uses Twilio, or you’ve just discovered our simple and powerful API for voice-enabling your applications, we hope you’ll enter our developer contest to win an awesome prize and $200 in Twilio credit – we’re running a new contest every week!

Our contest is as simple as Twilio itself, every Monday we announce a “theme” to help guide your ideas for what to build and you have one week to build and submit your project.   On the following Monday we announce the winner and send them a Netbook, and any other prizes from our contest partners.

This Week: Building Your Business on Twilio

Deadline: 11:59pm Pacific Time on Monday, September 27th

In celebration of our new reduced pricing for Twilio Voice, the theme for this week’s developer contest will be focused on taking advantage of cheaper prices, new functionality from the recent API revision, and all that Twilio has to offer.  Whether you have already built a business on Twilio, or are getting started today, we welcome you to participate.

The partners at Union Square Ventures will serve as our judges for this round, and they will select one awesome Twilio-powered company to meet with them in New York City, all expenses paid.  Three runners up will each receive $250 in Twilio credit to help get their businesses off the ground.
