Announcing This Week's Netbook Contest Category: Windows Azure
Time to read: 1 minute
We received so many fantastic entries for last week’s contest partnership with Amazon Web Services that we’re still trying them out and evaluating who the winner should be. We’ll announce a winner by the end of the day today, but before we do that we’d like to get the word out about this week’s category: Twilio apps built using Microsoft’s Windows Azure.
On to this week’s contest…
We’re extremely excited to be working with another premier cloud platform for this week’s contest!
We’ve partnered with the Microsoft Azure team to bring you this week’s contest. The best Twilio application powered by Microsoft Azure will win not only a Microsoft Windows-powered Netbook, but also a copy of Microsoft Windows 7 and $500 in free Azure usage when they hit their commercial launch. So to recap, this week you can win:
- A Windows-powered Dell Mini 9
- A free copy of Windows 7
- $500 in Azure platform usage
Wow, that’s a lot of prize.
If you’ve been following our blog for awhile, you might remember that Steve Marx from the Windows Azure team built a fun Twilio application called the CIA Pickup, and you can read about the implementation on his blog to help you get started.
