If you give a baker an hour to make a cake, you’ll get a half baked cake. If you give an engineer little time to complete a project, you’ll get a half finished project. Empowering developers starts with giving them the working environment and respect they need to thrive.

Karen Cohen, a project architect at Wix, spoke in baking metaphors when she sat down with us on Twilio Radio.   She also discussed the development culture – which she’s written about extensively –  in Israel, what she learns from Wix developers and how software hacking makes her life at home much easier.
