Pricing and Limitations

Assistant usage:

• No limit on number of messages.
• 100 free messages per month.
• After the first 100 messages, $0.02 for each message generated by an AI Assistant, in addition to connectivity costs (for example, SMS fees, Whatsapp message fees, etc.).
  • This includes messages generated in the Simulator.

You can monitor your pricing and usage from the Twilio Console.

While AI Assistants are in developer preview, there are feature and system limitations in place.

Assistant configuration limits:

• 10 Tools.
• 10 Knowledge Sources.
• 500 pages maximum for website sources.
• 30 characters maximum on names for Tools and Knowledge Sources.
• 2,000 characters maximum on descriptions for Tools and Knowledge Sources.
• 5,000 characters maximum on personality prompts.
