Pricing and Limitations

Assistant usage:

• No limit on number of messages.
• 100 free messages per month.
• After the first 100 messages, $0.05 for each message generated by an AI Assistant, in addition to connectivity costs (for example, SMS fees, Whatsapp message fees, etc.).
  • This includes messages generated in the Simulator .

You can monitor your pricing and usage from the Twilio Console.

While AI Assistants are in developer preview, there are feature and system limitations in place.

Assistant configuration limits:

• 10 Tools.
• 10 Knowledge Sources.
• 500 pages maximum for website sources.
• 30 characters maximum on names for Tools and Knowledge Sources.
• 2,000 characters maximum on descriptions for Tools and Knowledge Sources.
• 5,000 characters maximum on personality prompts.
