Regulations require that you first register your number to use these resources to send SMS traffic to US and Canadian mobile destinations. If you are sending to Canada or the US and have not already done so, please see our documentation to register your Twilio phone number or Toll-Free number before you use this template.

This app allows you to host a SMS subscription service on your Twilio phone number. People who text your Twilio phone number can use these commands to interact with your subscription service:

  • subscribe - Subscribe to updates from the service
  • stop/start - Allows your subscribers to opt out from, or opt back into, receiving updates (check out this article for further details on Twilio's built-in features for handling opt-out/in keywords)
  • broadcast <message content> - If your phone number is listed under "Broadcast admin numbers" below, this command lets you send updates to all of your subscribers

Before using this app, please go to your Twilio console and create a Notify Service, then paste its Service SID (which starts with IS) into the form below.

Step 4:View and edit your application
Once deployed, any changes to the fields above will not be applied to your app. To make changes, here are two options
